I just returned from the MGM Grand Las Vegas, where I attended the Signature Travel Network Sales Meeting & Trade Show. It’s been a while since my last visit to Las Vegas, it was nice to check out the new City Center with it’s award winning hotels including the Aria and the Mandarin Oriental with a sky lobby on the 23rd floor. I was invited to an event at the Mandarin and it is very impressive to walk into the lobby and lookout at the Strip!
A friend recommended a restaurant, Battista’s Hole in the Wall located off the strip behind the Flamingo Hotel, a fun place with lots of old photos on the wall. Their all inclusive menu includes – minestone soup or Italian salad, complimentary house wine, garlic bread, pasta side and homemade cappuccino. Battista’s has been family owned and operated for over 30 years.

Now that I’m back I will finish the details for my Hawaii Women’s Getaway – April 28, 2012. I have lived in Hawaii and have traveled back many times and I’m a designated Hawaii Destination Specialist from the Hawaii visitors & Convention Bureau. I am planning a special trip with time to enjoy the real Hawaii, we will only be going to two islands – not spending days traveling between islands to then rush around to see the sights before going to the next island. We will have time to explore the island and then sit on the beach and watch the sunset! I would love to have you join me…Imagine the Possibilities!

I went to Colorado in May to look at ranches and ski areas and found the C Lazy U Guest Ranch. I’m doing a Women’s Getaway in May, 2012 to this award winning ranch, which offers so much for the women traveler. During the summer they offer a five star guest ranch experience for all generations of families.

I had hoped to have more of my 2012 Women’s Getaways posted this week…then I had hoped for Heat and Hot Water! For those of you not living in the Boston area, we are recovering from what the news stations are calling an Epic Storm for October. I now have Heat and Hot Water…life if good! I’m back to working on the final details for more trips – check back next week for more information.

Tomorrow, I’m off to New York City, I have been invited by the Austrian Tourist Office and the Luxury Travel Advisor to be on a panel. I’m thinking this would be a good time to plan a Women’s Getaway to Austria – keep checking in for more details…and Imagine the Possibilities!
Modern Family’s first show of the season (9/21) is filmed in Jackson Hole Wyoming, where I have planned a Women’s Getaway for July.
I say an ad and you can see the beauty of the Grand Teton National Park. They are at a dude ranch in Jackson. I will be doing a trip in July that will be a night in Jackson, two nights at a secluded camp site on Jackson Lake – limited to 12. The last night is back to staying at The Lexington at Jackson .
