Dr. Roseanna Means, of Women of Means, is being awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation 2010 Community Health Leaders Award.
This is a prestigious award and given to only ten leaders across the US working in community health care. Dr. Means brings free, quality health care to women in shelters
I was at a meeting where Dr. Means was the speaker, I was impressed by her work and especially her caring for these women in need. I’m sitting at my desk remembering the beautiful sunsets, this the place to be for a drink at the end of the day. My favorite was the restaurant bar on the beach, at night you sit facing the water, there are lights shining on the surf – I kept going back for dinner, it’s a special place! My room was near the beach and near the golf course, and it was wonderful. If you are a golfer the course goes right to the beach…what a nice way to spend the day.

I’m pleased to announce a series of trips for women. Designed for women to get away from their daily routine, to relax, rejuvenate and have fun. Our tours are made up of a diverse group of interesting women; married, single, entrepreneurs and stay at home moms – women taking a little time to recharge! There are new things to try and places to explore…and always there is chocolate! Come with a friend, or come alone and enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of other women.
